There are many ways to buy cars in the UK. So many that it is really hard for consumers to know where to get the best choice, best value, best service, best after-care, or best credit to finance your purchase. In addition to franchised dealers offering vehicles for sale, there are: manufacturers selling direct to the public; rental car companies doing the same; car-buying agents; car supermarkets; used car dealers; internet traders; importers; auctions; and personal shoppers. Most car buying guides concentrate on what to buy, whether it be new or used. This book covers that, but assumes the buyer knows roughly what he wants. What has been missing until now is a guide through the jungle of places and prices which tells you where to buy and how to pay for your car. Text is primarily for the UK market.Paperback - 5-1/2' x 8-7/8' - 160 pages - 20 illustrations

Professional protection, amateur pricing! The experts at Meguiar?s have spent the past 100 years perfecting formulas and rooting out better compound combinations in order to deliver the ultimate finish to each and every vehicle their products touch. They?ve also built a reputation as an honest company, with reasonable pricing, striving to provide the same top-notch products to the everyday user that they distribute to the pros. And one of the reasons (although there are too many to accurately account) that Meguiar?s has enjoyed such longevity in the surface care industry is the sheer durability of their product line. Meguiar?s #20 Polymer Sealant stands in that same tradition--it stands the rigors of time. Car dealers generally charge a pretty penny for a poly sealant--upwards of $300 in most shops. The pros at Meguiar?s decided to level the playing field and offer their poly sealant (#20)--the same #20 Polymer Sealant the professional shops use--to the everyday user, at a fraction of the cost! And Meguiar?s makes it so easy to apply #20 Polymer Sealant. It?s simple really... anyone can achieve stunning results with relatively little effort. You can apply #20 by hand or orbital polisher, just be certain to use on a cool surface and away from direct sun exposure. Allow to dry to a haze and gently buff to a remarkable shine by hand or orbital polisher. It?s so easy it?s actually fun! The best part is that the protection lasts for over six months! Professionals prefer #20 Polymer Sealant because it contains a gentle cleanser that pulls up residual dirt and contaminants as it polishes and protects. When you?re detailing for a living, anything that saves steps without sacrificing a brilliant finish is coveted. Use the same poly sealant the pros charge top dollar for--Meguiar?s #20 Polymer Sealant! 64 oz.

DP Universal Detailing Clay Clay your way to a silky smooth finish with a bright glossy shimmer! Clear coat automotive finishes were created in the 1980s as a more attractive alternative to single stage paint finishes. This new type of finish was more prone to airborne contaminants and industrial pollution, so a new way of cleaning was in order. Contaminants become embedded in clear coats and the only way to remove them is by pulling them out rather than washing them off. Clay was invented in 1987 in Japan, and soon after an American company created its own version and began marketing it to detail shops and car dealers. Now clay is a widely available, mainstream cleaning option that professionals and hobbyists rely on to get their vehicles completely clean. DP Universal Detailing Clay is a special clay compound that safely and quickly removes contaminants that lie below the clear coat surface. Clay works by grabbing foreign particles and pulling them out of the clear coat as you rub the bar across the paint surface. Washing only removes surface contaminants, but your vehicle may still have microscopic particles embedded in the clear coat. These particles are hard to see individually, but together they can cause dull, rough patches that detract from the paint?s appearance. DP Universal Detailing Clay will remove these contaminants and restore a glassy smooth finish to your vehicle. Once wax is applied, the paint will feel silky smooth and have a bright, glossy shimmer. If industrial pollution, brake dust, bugs, tar, and sand are allowed to remain lodged in your vehicle?s paint, they create tiny openings in the protective clear coat. Over time, air and water can enter these openings and cause the paint system to fail. Claying your vehicle periodically will prevent paint system failure and enhance the performance of your favorite wax by creating an ultra-slick surface. DP Universal Detailing Clay requires the use of a lubricant to ease the clay across the painted surface. Use DP Universal Clay Lubricant. Its high lubricity formula allows loosened contaminants to easily absorb into the clay. The clay material will glide, not stick and pull, if the bar is kept well-lubricated throughout the claying process. Both the DP Universal Detailing Clay and the DP Universal Clay Lubricant can be mixed and matched with other clays and lubricants without affecting the performance of either. Clay can also be used to remove stubborn debris from wheels. Wash them first using DP Gel Wheel Cleaner. Spray DP Universal Clay Lubricant over wheel surface and clay your wheels just as you would clay the paint. Since its introduction, detailing clay has been priced according to its limited demand. Now that the use of clay is more widespread, DP Universal Detailing Clay can be offered at a price that professional detailers and at-home perfectionists will enjoy. Experience the difference clay makes on your own vehicle with DP Universal Detailing Clay. Directions
